Lack of Immigration Enforcement

As I mentioned yesterday I was researching the legal means of getting a visa into the United States when I came upon the website @ http://www.zazona.com/ShameH1B/ . In this site are tables from the INS showing the amount of H-1B visas allocated and authorized for a few years past. On Lou Dobbs last night it was revealed that for the third year in a row the government has authorized more H-1B visas than allowed by law. This prompted me to write a letter to my congressional representatives and I used this as one more instance of ignoring the law or its selective enforcement. Here is the text of the letter.

Dear Senator,

I have deep concerns for our country because of the blatant disregard for the laws of this country. Much has been written documenting this administration’s position that they feel they can pick and choose which laws apply to them. From illegal wire taps to illegal immigration there has been a pattern of ignoring the laws that are on the books and refusing to enforce them. They have tried to and succeeded in many attempts to sell this nation’s infrastructure to foreign nations and now are selling the sovereignty of this nation in the attempt to create the North American Union. I protest and claim that these actions are not in the interest of this nation but the agenda of special corporate interests concerned only with their profit margins and not this nation of people.

You as one of the elected persons representing your constituents are charged with creating the laws of this nation and I cannot see why you are not as disgusted as I that the efforts of Congress is wantonly ignored by not only the President, but by the organizations charged with enforcing these laws. When does selective enforcement of the laws of this nation become a crime?

There are many laws and regulations on the books concerning illegal immigration but there is a concerted effort to ignore them. It is documented almost every day where ICE refuses to pick up illegal aliens in local custody. It was revealed yesterday that the limits for H-1B visas were violated again for the third year in a row. Numerous communities and municipalities are drafting their own laws to combat this lack of federal enforcement.

The State of Texas has in excess of a dozen bills in the state legislature to combat illegal immigration and force compliance from these illegal employers with many other states drafting similar legislation because we as citizens are fed up with the inaction of this government. Thankfully some of the Texas lawmakers are actually listening to the citizens unlike what I perceive as we're being ignored by some congressional representatives in favor of the lobbyist's wishes and their cash!

The pressure to create new laws concerning illegal immigration without trying to enforce the ones we have is a waste of time and is criminal in its own right. In 1986 we had amnesty forced down our throats with the promise that no amnesty would every happen again. Now through skillful rhetoric members of Congress are attempting to do the same thing when you’re not wasting the time drafting resolutions concerning the football teams winning bowl appearance. You were a member of the 109th do nothing Congress and should note that many of us have long memories concerning those that voted for S2611 and will carry these memories to the upcoming 2008 elections.

It is my hope that you will take note of the will of your constituents and stand against any attempt at amnesty for illegal aliens and their employers. I would hope that you and your fellow Senators take action to force the departments charged with enforcing our immigration laws to perform their duties or hold them accountable for their lack of action! It is also my hope that you will assist Representative McCaul in getting the information he seeks concerning the imprisoned Border Patrol agents Compean and Ramos from DHS.

 Sincerely yours,

Please feel free to plagiarize this letter and sent it to your congressional representatives!

Immigration Visas - reality check

Today I was going to research and write about the legal ways for immigrants to enter this country and the government programs that avail themselves to employers seeking to legally hire immigrant labor. In my research I ran across a very excellent and informative website called ZaZona.com @

http://www.zazona.com/ShameH1B/

For those that haven’t visited this site and you are as concerned as I am about Amnesty for illegal aliens then you need to check out this site. There are many answers and there is an excellent chronology of events with the major players in congress documenting their involvement and activities concerning importing aliens into the work force at the expense of the American worker.

For those that pay Union dues you really need to check out this site and see what your hard earned dollar is doing to your job security by the people you pay to represent you!

Immigration Reform for Dummies

For those that have programmed for a living you probably remember the IPO and HIPO charts that your manager wanted before actually starting coding. The translations for the acronyms are Input Process Output and Hierarchal Input Process Output. They were used to insure that your logic worked prior to ever touching the keyboard or the key punch machine as some of us old timers remember. Whatever was the expected input was processed to the desired output be it input to another program or subroutine, print or data to be permanently stored. In these diagrams was a decision symbol in the shape of a diamond. This symbol related to a test of the data or variable to meet a certain condition and the program would branch to a specified subroutine, location or exit completely depending on the programmer’s wish. It was normally entered at the top of the diamond with the test written inside the boundaries of the symbol. Two of the remaining points were deemed the exit of the decision according to the result of the test being yes or no.

Immigration can be explained just as easily as the programmer’s decision symbol. Enter…Are you legally entitled to be here?...Yes = Welcome, No = leave and get legal or leave and don’t come back.

Let’s try this on some pertinent immigration related questions…Do we give in-state tuition to illegal aliens?...Are you legally entitled to be here = no; so we don’t give in-state tuition to illegal aliens. That was simple enough and actually fun. Let’s try some more.

Should we give free health care to illegal aliens….Processing….NO.

Should we let them rent in our communities….Processing….NO!

Should we give them social security benefits….Processing…NO!

Should we let the own property…Processing…NO!

Should we give them Driver’s licenses….Processing….NO!

Should we give their anchor brat citizenship…Processing…NO!

Should we educate their spawn at the citizens expense…Processing…NO!

In 1986 the government, over my extreme dismay, granted amnesty and the same arguments then are being used today. IN that agreement it was stated that this was a onetime shot for Amnesty…well they had their shot and everyone following knew the rules and decided to break them so we should treat the illegal with the same compassion and respect he had for our laws when he broke them by being or entering here illegally. For all other questions refer to the decision symbol above.

State of the Border?

Last night we watched a President trying to sell the public his escalation plan for Iraq, his new energy policy and his plea for comprehensive immigration reform to provide Amnesty to the million of leaches on our society, I sat and remembered my grade school days when it was explained the theory of our government and the respect I had for the position of president. In my minds eye I thought here was that special person working for the people that elected him to keep this country strong and represent the interests on the citizens.

Relieved hearing the President was giving his speech in English I watched the audience noticing the expressions of the Senators and Representatives and wondered what was running through their minds. The cameras keyed on the presidential hopefuls and I surmised that their campaigns were foremost in their thoughts and how they were going to respond to the press. The party partisans where either praising or developing ridicule to counter the statements of the President and the guests were there to witness and give the gratuitous applause at the appropriate time. What was missing on my part was the respect for the individual giving the speech.

I remembered the attempts, past and present, to sell this country to foreign companies. I remembered the lies and deception concerning the reasons for invading Iraq and now the continuation of this war. I remembered the stubborn allegiance to Rumsfeld that cost the change of leadership in congress. I contemplated the public’s opinion of this president as he made this speech and the talking heads critiquing every word in the after analysis. I thought of the instances where the President ignored the laws or cherry picked the ones he wanted to use. I thought that the public has earned the right to question the credibility of this President.

I thought again to my youth’s perceptions of the office and the individual and realized how different the reality is of the child is in respect to the adult. Here I now have almost an utter contempt for President Bush in comparison to the super hero status of the office in my youth and wondered why I felt this way about this man. I then remembered the phrase from the Smith Barney commercial where they say, “they earn it!” Close to 70% of my fellow Americans are disgusted with the actions of this President and I imagine there is the same proportion that abhors the thought of Amnesty.

There are many studies and reports that discredit the plans for comprehensive immigration but I know of none that provide the facts and figures where it is beneficial let alone fiscally responsible. As I’ve written many times before, “where is the data that justifies the need for Comprehensive Immigration Reform?” The simple questions of : Who needs the illegal immigrant, Why do they need immigrant Labor, How many are here; working; requested via government programs, and Where are these immigrants have never been answered. They estimate the total illegal alien population because they have no figures but are willing to set a blanket escalating quota to admit that many more to this nation. This is not in the best interest of this nation and therefore not in the best interest of the citizens of this nation.

I’ll keep plugging away in Blogs, writing to my congressional leaders and hope you will also. Remember, apathy got this man elected and apathy will let the special interests this man represents be our legacy we leave for our children and grand children.

Check out Hillary’s politically correct penny!

Border Patrol Motto?

U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton has done as much for the morale of the Border patrol as the Kennedy’s have done to the success testimonials from the Mayo Clinic concerning alcohol abuse. A very difficult and dangerous job is now worse because of the prosecution of Campean and Ramos and one would wonder as a Border Patrol Agent who’s got your back? I propose that the Border Patrol motto be changed from, “Honor First,” to, “It’s not a half bad place to work once you don’t give a shiite.”

I’ve always been a big proponent of trust your gut. There seems to be a six sense in an individual when there is danger or a situation that is more than it seems to be. Something really stinks here and no one in the government is attempting to freshen the air. Whatever deal that was struck to sacrifice 2 of our own and throw them in prison using the word of a slime ball drug smuggler reeks of impropriety and a private agenda. Looking at the position of the U.S. attorney trying to justify this travesty reminds me of Baghdad Bob extolling the might of the Hussein Regime.

I can think of no other action that will castrate the effectiveness of the Border Patrol. Who would want to become a victim of their own employer? This will promote corruption because the penalty for looking the other way or taking the money from a smuggler, drug or human, will be less that what the agents Campean and Ramos received.

Using the present motto of the Border Patrol I wonder where are the managers or supervisors of these 2 agents. Where is their input into these proceedings and why have they abandoned their own to an obvious staged kangaroo court? Where are the managers that wrote the commendations for these same officers now deemed felons for the act of protecting one’s own life? The sincere lack of Honor is very apparent here!

I’m also an advocate of the phrase, “Every dog has their day!” Who is waiting in shadows with the smoking gun as they say that will expose the real agenda here? Who won’t get that promotion, their share of the bucks or just have their conscious eat on them long enough to do the right thing. Who suddenly becomes disgruntled by an errant comment and then seeks revenge against the person that stated it. It is amazing that when someone crosses that line there is always someone there to witness the event, someone to over hear the plot or the dumb luck accidental discovery of the leader of the conspiracy victim to their own stupidity and greed. Maybe it will be that someone close to the person(s) responsible will fall victim to the poisons smuggled into this country by an ironic act of fate.

I’m rooting for the agents. Their only crime in my opinion is not aiming 18 inches higher and ridding the gene pool of another abhorrent evolutionary mutation! Maybe their appeal will bring to light the real reason for their prosecution?

You’re kidding me; Employer Enforcement?

For those that follow the news concerning illegal immigration enforcement there seems to be no penalties assessed to the employers of the illegal aliens captured. Furthermore the judicial system is more concerned on the illegal immigrant’s comfort and non-existent rights than prosecuting them for violating our laws.

This past week illegal aliens were caught in Georgia and other locations. In the story documenting these captures it was stated that no charges were files against the employers.

Now one might wonder with the breach of security at a military installation by contractors there might be some hell to pay but since the offense included illegal aliens then there must be some special dispensation for these cases. Getting a speeding ticket or traffic infraction would at one time get you directly before the provost marshal but I guess times have changed. We must be more in touch with our emotions and beware of anything that might be construed as an international incident with the neighbor to the south even if it is a breach of security at a military installation.

I find it dubious at best with all of the publicity concerning the raids at the Swift Meat packing facilities that this employer didn’t know they were employing illegal aliens. The week before the Dallas Morning news ran an article about Cactus Texas and the illegal immigrant population of that town whose primary employer was the meat packing facility. Interviews with the local Law enforcement also revealed that they knew the extent of the population that was employed at Swift and how many of those employees were residents of Cactus Texas. Here is another example of hiding in plain sight and the violation of numerous laws condoned or at least ignored by law enforcement.

It has been stated the best way to stop illegal immigration is to dry up the incentive for them to come and yet Chertoff and Meyers thump their chests and cackle like Punch and Judy on these miniscule raids never touching the employers. “There might be more to the puppet metaphor than meets the eye here.” If one were to put into perspective what congress allocates funding to ICE, DHS and the judiciary for the year compared to the amount of illegal aliens captured and deported we would scream at the cost per immigrant apprehended. To make matters more egregious deportees play Schwarzenegger exiting our country saying, “I’ll be Back!”

I recently found this web site that posts excerpts from the Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii) ;Federal immigration and Nationality Act. It is very interesting and everyone should take a look. It can be seen at

http://www.mnforsustain.org/immigration_hiring_law_excerpts_from_us_code.htm

The next time someone says we need comprehensive immigration refer them to this page and say, “let’s try enforcing these laws first before we spend inordinate sums on creating new ones!” The next time some farmer cries there are no one to pick our crops ask them if they complied with the government in securing legal immigrant labor under the rules and regulations that exist instead of screaming about illegal immigrants.

I’m still waiting for someone to prosecute some employers after the arrests, Aren’t you?

Do you employ illegal aliens?

Being my normal caustic self the other day I tried an experiment. I stopped at a local restaurant and ordered take out because I had my lab waiting in my truck and I frankly didn’t feel like cooking that evening or dealing with the dog wearing out my windows with nose prints. I place my order, paid and then noticed the Hispanic individual cooking my Chicken Pad Thai in the exposed kitchen area along with other cooks. I then asked to see the manager.

The young girl surprised by my request asked if she could help so I replied, “Do you have illegal aliens working here?” I must have barked this response like calling cadence on the parade grounds because the entire restaurant went silent…so silent you could hear a rat urinating on cotton. She wasn’t prepared for this and she flew to find the manager.

Needless to say I now had the entire restaurant’s patrons and staff’s undivided attention. The manager appeared and asked if he could help to which I again queried if he was employing illegal aliens in this restaurant? He stated no but then asked what difference would that make?

Giving me a soap box to stand on I said for one I’d want my money back because I wouldn’t patronize an establishment performing illegal employment practices. I then went through my dissertation on the concerns associated with the health risks that illegal aliens are bringing to this country. I asked this Manager whether he knew if his employees were all immunized against Rubella, TB, polio and the other infectious diseases we take for granted because as citizens we are required to be immunized. He said I don’t know. I told him that illegal immigrants bypass these medical inspections by illegally crossing the border and could be a health risk to the patrons of restaurants. I cited the resurgence of children testing positive for TB in the San Antonio area. This was once a disease eradicated in the United States and now is likely being brought back by illegal immigrants. Maybe you would like to offer a healthy case of hepatitis III to accompany your Kung Pow Chicken. About that time the young lady brought my order of Chicken Pad Thai. I asked the manager again you’re sure no illegal aliens…with a wink to his reply I took my food and left.

Later last year ATMOS energy shows up at my door explaining they are going through a retrofit program and are going to replace the riser going to my gas meter sometime during the week. On November 16 they showed up while I’m enjoying a cool beverage with my neighbor across the street. One guy is directing the work and sitting at the curb smoking and doing paperwork while the other 2 are digging up my shrubs to replace the riser to my gas meter. Noticing the cigarette and an open gas line I decided to get my lab out of the house before they blew it up. The dog thinks everyone is his toy and has to greet the gas company employees so I go to retrieve him and talk to the employees. Here is where I notice only one can speak English and that is the guy with the cigarette hanging out of his mouth at the curb. To make a long story short after contacting ATMOS, DHS and ICE I finally get to a Mr. Scott Powell, VP of operations for ATMOS energy, and talked to him about this situation. I told Scott that only one of the employees dressed in ATMOS Energy uniforms could speak English and had some semblance of employee identification. The other two could not speak English and had no Identification badges. Furthermore they were driving an unmarked vehicle and the employee that could speak English pointed to ATMOS contractor’s name, S.L. Siebert, on a Xeroxed form and indicated that this was his name. Mr. Powell said he needed time to investigate and I gave him a series of concerns that I wanted to see addressed. He agreed and committed to get back to me with some answers. Having not returned my prior calls to his cell phone after what I thought was sufficient time to investigate and get some answers I contacted him today to get his answers for this article. To summarize the contractors should not have had ATMOS uniforms and he didn’t know where they got them and wasn’t concerned that this was a security risk. He referred the issue of the photoshop identification badges to HR and has no status. He referred the telephone number to verify an employee’s legitimate employment to HR and has no status. He was assured from the contractor that the employees are legally entitled to work in this country but the contractor will not provide this proof because the employees in question cite privacy concerns. He says the employees are certified to work these operations by a third party contractor and does this verbally in Spanish to accommodate the lack of English speaking contractors. He is not concerned that in an emergency the fact the employees cannot speak or read English. Mr. Powell apologized for not getting back to me sooner and I said I expected that I would have to contact him judging by the ridiculous answers given. I thanked him and ended the call.

If DHS is reading this article and gives a Shiite the report number is 558751. For those wanting to comment to Mr.  Powell before someone blows up a shopping mall or a city block disguised in an ATMOS Energy uniform his phone numbers are 214-316-4686 and 214-206-2805. Mr. Powell feels the previous stated scenario is sensationalized and un-realistic…I beg to differ!

I bring these two instances to press because we empower this illegal invasion with our pocket book and many times may not even know it. I have never met a citizen that was apprehensive or embarrassed to acknowledge that fact when asked but to the contrary when someone is masquerading as one with forged or illegal documents. Working for the gas company is not a job that Americans won’t do but with our apathy the job is going the same way as a Swift meat cutter. I had an individual soliciting work pruning trees ask if I might have a need for his services. I asked if he ran wetbacks to which he acknowledged he did…I politely told him that this was a extremely sensitive issue with me and thanked him for his honesty but I would never knowingly contribute to this invasion.

I propose we confront our frustrations with the lack of enforcement with the power of the pocket book. We need to demand that we are being served legally and impress this issue on those soliciting our commerce. Grab a gang of neighbors and schedule a night out policing suspected restaurants for illegal aliens. Order a table for 15 and then when seated ask if there are illegal aliens employed there before ordering. When they say no ask for proof. If they decline then loudly leave voicing your sentiments. When you make a reservation at a hotel and ask for assurance they don’t employ illegal aliens. If they admit it cancel the reservation.

Ask for proof that there are no illegal employees in an establishment you’re contemplating doing business with and write those businesses asking for assurances their employees are legally entitled to work in this nation. Notify those business caught employing illegal aliens and boycott their products. Swift and Miller should take note of this!

Make it a matter of pride that you are being served legally and reward those businesses that comply while penalizing those on the pocket book that don’t!

Border Patrol Scapegoats

Today I’m reminded of a movie called, “Breaker Morant.” This 1979 film depicted the fictional murder trial of three Australian soldiers during the Boer War tried for killing a German missionary thought to be a spy. It depicts political correctness at its best when it is revealed that the private plans of Lord Kitchner for ending the Boer war including sacrificing their own to further his agenda by enacting an orchestrated semblance of justice for the accused.

The reason for this recalled memory of a movie is the remarkable resemblance to the Border Patrol agents Campion and Ramos having to report to prison for doing their job. It seems to me whoever scripted the charges, the prosecution and the trial was a big fan of the play written by Kenneth G. Ross back in 1979. The defendants in the movie were given one day to prepare a defense, tried, convicted and summarily executed with great expedience and as in the case of Campion and Ramos, they were doing their duty and being prosecuted because they did it well.

The House of Representatives passed two resolutions 39 and 43 on January 16, 2007 but they were to honor the football teams that won their respective bowl appearances and mentioned nothing concerning the outrage associated with the looming imprisonment of these Agents.

The Whitehouse sans any action or comment on this issue but has the time back in December to pardon drug dealers because their parents made large contributions to the republican party.

The final insult is the Judges denial of the request to remain free on bail while the drug smuggling scum walks free and is suing the Government for 5 million dollars after again being caught smuggling drugs.

There are many things that disgust me about this administration this one takes the cake. We as citizens should demand a better choice than the two morons paraded to the public in the last election because these are the type of consequences we reap from apathy. My anti-incumbent agenda is alive and well and I see no reason to change come 2008!

Illegal employers

For those that can remember 48, 49 then 50 stars on a flag then you might remember a guy by the name of Tennessee Ernie Ford and the song 16 tons. In this song are the lyrics, “Saint Peter don’tcha call me cause I can’t go; I owe my soul to the company store.” For those whose existence came later in life let me shed some light on the meaning of the lyrics. This song was about coal mining and living in a coal town at the mercy of the employer. Your job, your home, the stores and the food you purchased were owned by the owner of the coal mine. These owners paid just less than what was necessary to survive so the employees stayed in a constant state of debt where this employer would hold the note forcing servitude and compliance. Any act of questioning authority or defiance was met with calling in the note and either forcing contrition or the more severe consequence of expulsion from their livelihood, their home and their community because this was the only game in town. Now if you think I’m writing a bleeding heart liberal comparison to the miners and illegal aliens you’re WRONG…read on!

I’m using the above mind’s eye metaphor to denote today’s elected officials’ debt they are required to pay back to their corporate masters. These are the masters that are sponsoring the lobbyists with all of that hidden cash in the form of donations and political action committees. As in the case of certain individuals preferences cash is also not out of the question. Some of it is so hot you have to store it in a freezer. These are also the guys holding fund raisers at exclusive hotels at no charge to the candidate’s campaign. They provide vacations and transportation to exotic places for the official and his family, control the media and hold the negatives documenting the indiscretions that would destroy the individual publicly and privately. As it has been said before, “they’re puppets on a string.”

These individuals pulling the strings are very scared because citizen like you and I are fed up with the crime, corruption and the financial drain associated with illegal immigration. They fear that they soon may be held accountable for this subservient society they have created in our nation. This is why all of the rhetoric of denouncing the immigration raids and the cries for comprehensive immigration that not only includes amnesty for illegal aliens but amnesty for the employers of the illegal aliens.

Given the premise that there are a lot fewer employers in proportion to the illegal alien employees it makes sense that enforcement should be concentrated on those illegal employers for efficient and economic reasons. Take away the reason for coming here and the illegal immigration stops. Take away the cheap pool of labor and the employer is forced to use the citizens of this nation because these are the jobs that can’t be exported to a foreign nation. Had they been able to export them it would have been done a long time ago. When this president cries for comprehensive immigration reform it is because there is a corporate cattle prod in the hands of his proctologist and a finger is on the button. The candidates vying for position in the 2008 election are also getting fitted for their halter and bit.

There is a great statement my dad shared in my youth that I remember well today. He said, “Silence is compliance.” Too many sit idly by saying, “what good will it do, I’m just one person.” It is that attitude that permits the corporate barons to laugh getting 400 million dollar bonuses while you’re paying in excess of $3.00 per gallon of gas and selling out ahead of their corporation’s demise draining the employees pension plans in the process dashing their retirement dreams. If you’re reading this article then you have the means to be heard and you already paid for the postage. Send your grievances and your evaluation of your legislator’s performance in your own words and don’t wait for someone to send you a form letter or petition to forward. Get involved, get vocal and return this to a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Here is a great link to get started with: http://www.congressmerge.com/onlinedb/index.htm .

The next time you see ole folksy GW leaning on the podium crying for comprehensive immigration reform think of old Tennesee Ernie Ford ending the song by singing, "I owe my soul............to the company store."

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

Pardons and sugar plums dance in his head

Yesterday evening on the Lou Dobbs show an update was aired about the 2 Border patrol agents that were convicted in a kangaroo court for violating a drug dealers civil rights. It didn’t matter that this slimeball had a van full of drugs, it didn’t matter that he fought with the agent trying to escape prosecution, and it didn’t matter that he fled back across the border as many of the illegal alien criminals do to escape capture and prosecution. These poor civil servants didn’t have the suspiciously large bank accounts or the ostentatious homes that are often the dead give away of someone on the take. They were convicted of doing their job. The slime ball took a round in the butt and because the agents aim wasn’t a foot higher to where a vital organ could have been hit, he and his partner are charged with a violation of this scum’s civil rights. The zealous prosecution by a federal prosecutor, one whose appearance could scare the ugly off an ape, ignored the precedence that at best this was an administrative violation of the rules governing the agents’ actions that also at best warranted internal disciplinary action for failure to comply.

To the Dobbs Show’s credit these poor agents’ story would have been another casualty of apathy and anonymity buried on the back pages of the newspapers had it not been for the publicity and attention of his show. Their efforts have informed many congressmen that are appalled at the treatment of these individuals. One being Congressman Dana Rohrabacher from California. The Dobbs show last night informed us that during a rally, Congressman Rohrabacher's office received a lengthy response from the White House:

“Among its claims, the White House says, while the sentence may -- the sentences of the two agents may seem harsh, the agents, in the White House's view, used excessive force. And the White House says they received a fair trial.”

This same day the President passed out 16 pardon and in these pardons is a man convicted of dealing methamphetamine and another who, along with his family, donated to the Republican National Committee and the Bush-Cheney re-election campaign. Multiple agents caught in blatant corruption scandals have been reassigned or slapped on the wrist in comparison to the penalty assessed these Agents.

It is hard not to imagine that these poor agents are being served up to placate some Mexican Official as an appeasement for some private issue between them and the Bush administration. Former and present agents talk about the Mexican government being apprised of where civilian patrols are located so their citizens can escape capture illegally crossing our borders and yet this for some insane reason is justified by the management of the Border patrol.

I’d love to see Bush tried by a jury of his peers for, illegal wiretaps, serving up a CIA agent because her husband disagreed publicly with his administration, failure to honor his oath to enforce the laws of this nation, Ignoring the laws legislated by our congress, and the reason we needed to wage war against Iraq! Would he then be so flippant as to say it’s a fair trial.

Merry Christmas to all and I hope the Agents get their new trial based on the evidence of jury misconduct. It is my hope that they are exonerated from this blatant miscarriage of justice.

Santa’s watching GW… and I hope he has a great big Mexican coal suppository for you this year!

Edible Illegal Immigrants

With the recent outbreaks of E.coli permeating through our fast food chains it makes one wonder what has happened that this is now so prevalent. Could it be that our food supply has become tainted by new methods in agriculture or is Mother Nature upset with how we are treating the earth and is exacting a little revenge upon us? First spinach, then onions and now lettuce are suspected in the widely publicized case of the bacteria infections associated with consuming food in a fast food establishment. The sadder thing is this produce probably accounts for most of the good nutritional value in the poly-uncircumcised fat laden products being consumed.

Through out all of the publicity given this subject a first has arisen where a cry for government regulation has been heard by the growers. If one thinks the government’s intervention would produce a safer product for consumption then think again. This would require more inspections and certification of the food supply which in turn would require more inspection personnel and the facilities to test and validate said food supply. With little concern of bombs passing through our ports what chance do you think any concern will be placed on bacteria. If we can use the enforcement of immigration laws as an example of how well the government performs we are in deep trouble.

One of the things that have received little attention in the press is the import of produce into this nation. From all over the world and especially south of our border produce streams into our nation’s ports or is trucked through the border to wholesale produce houses across the nation. This produce is then stored with or in proximity to the American produce. When the little sticker with the 4 digit number is applied then all identity is lost at the point of sale unless it is noted on that sticker. CDC CSI is called in to get DNA swabs from the offending onion to determine who is the guilty vegetable.

What also receives little attention is the farming methods used in these countries exporting to our nation. Anyone that has traveled to Mexico has been warned not to drink the water and don’t eat the produce. Those that couldn’t wait for the bottled beverage or couldn’t resist the luscious looking salad paid the price with the stomach cramps and projectile diarrhea. In these countries the logic used in determining how to fertilize the soil is, “If it stinks it must be good.” Therefore the use of human fecal matter is not out of the question. There are supposedly federal guidelines requiring these exporting producers to adhere to our standards but again as in the case of Illegal Immigration, “We don’t care bout no stinkin laws.”

Those of you that cherish these green leafy vegetables will probably have a new appreciation for that old farmer you knew when you were growing up. Instead of the pretty flowers adorning your property or your porch there will be tomato plants and lettuce pots taking their place. Be forewarned and beware of the edible illegal immigrant.

Deportation Blues

As expected the local papers are extolling the misery of the inhabitants of the towns where the immigration raids had taken place. The local news paper in Dallas, an extremely liberal rag, ran its bleeding heart interviews of some of the ones that escaped being captured. If you’re listening ICE, you missed some! Again through all of this there is no mention that these people are breaking the law by being employed in this country. It was the parents of the crying little children that made the conscious decision to bypass the legal means of entry and put their family at risk of instant relocation.

Reading the reporters accounts of the after effects of the raid prompted me to write some lyrics to an old song. It is sung to the tune of Bye Bye Birdie.

Bye, Bye Beaner Bye , Bye...

Hey little Paco don’t cry

The bus your parents are taking....

Deports them home to go and do their baby making

Swim a river and then...

It starts over again....

They’ll never stay, they’ll find a way

To squirt out anchor babies and make us pay and pay so here now

Little Paco don’t cry...

Bye, Bye Beaner, Bye, Bye!!!!

What is also the norm now is the liberal legislators and the RINOs crying for comprehensive immigration reform, better known as amnesty, after a publicized successful enforcement of our laws. There’s no mention of the identity theft victims that these people victimized but just more pleas for guest worker programs as the panacea for all of our immigrations problems while ignoring the fact this was a justified law enforcement issue.

It remains to be seen whether this was just a grand stand play to incite and excite. There is still the issue of Swift employing 1282 illegal aliens while extolling it was probably more to a judge trying to get an injunction prior to Tuesday’s enforcement action. If they walk away unscathed then it is another token attempt to make headlines while selectively enforcing our laws.
